What an incredible day we had at Woodbury as staff and students immersed themselves in the magic of World Book Day! The atmosphere was electric, filled with the joy of storytelling and the delight of creative costumes.
From the strength and resilience of Black Panther to the classic intellect of Sherlock Holmes, our community truly embraced the World Book Day spirit. The hallways of the school were transformed into a gathering of literary heroes, as students showcased their favourite characters from an array of genres. It was heartwarming to see everyone engage in discussions about books, sharing insights and recommendations with one another.
Throughout the day, laughter and excitement continued and pupils made lasting memories that we hope they will cherish. A huge thank you to all the staff and students for your enthusiasm and creativity! We look forward to seeing how this celebration of reading will continue to inspire our love for books throughout the year.
