Welcome to Bushbury School
Bushbury School is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Wolverhampton, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged 7-19 with Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN).
The school has been thoughtfully designed and renovated to the highest standards, providing bright, modern learning spaces that inspire and engage. Bushbury School also features safe, multifunctional co-regulation spaces where young people receive personalised support from our clinicians to either up-regulate or down-regulate, ensuring they are in the optimal state to engage in their learning.
We are also proud to start work on a beautiful sensory garden designed to enrich students’ learning experiences. This garden promotes sensory processing, enhances communication skills, and fosters co-regulation by stimulating the senses through carefully chosen plants, textures, sounds, and elements that encourage engagement and relaxation. It offers numerous benefits to young people with ASC and SLCN, creating a therapeutic space for exploration and connection.
Our broad but balanced curriculum is specifically designed to meet the unique learning styles and needs of each student. With bespoke learning plans and a supportive therapeutic environment, we’re committed to ensuring every child receives the support they require to succeed.
At Bushbury, we are dedicated to preparing our students for successful futures through our comprehensive career support programme.
