8th March is International Women’s Day (IWD) – a global day for celebrating women’s achievements, raising awareness about discrimination, and taking action. IWD has been celebrated for over a century and continues to address important issues around gender inequality.
This year’s theme is ‘Accelerate Action’. At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158 – roughly five generations from now – to reach full gender parity, according to the World Economic Forum.
The focus on Accelerating Action highlights the need for swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both personally and professionally.

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to create a positive work environment where every colleague and young person feels valued, respected, and supported.
