As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, Great Howarth School launched a school food bank campaign, led by their dedicated TA working party. This initiative aimed to raise awareness of the link between well-being, mental health, and food security within our school community.
A post-16 student and a Year 4 student proudly delivered an incredible 124.5kg of donations to Rochdale Foodbank, demonstrating the power of teamwork across different age groups. Their collaboration highlighted the importance of supporting others while reinforcing the connection between physical and mental well-being.
This campaign showcased the strength of community support and the positive impact it can have on children’s mental health. We are proud of everyone involved and look forward to continuing initiatives that promote well-being for all.
