Grove Road School welcomed professional footballer Josh Shattell today for an inspiring visit. The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who plays for Derby County FC, shared his experiences as a professional athlete with an eager audience of pupils.
As the brother of a Grove Road student, Josh’s visit was especially meaningful, and he took the time to answer questions, offer advice, and discuss the dedication required to succeed in professional football. Pupils were captivated by his journey and left feeling motivated by his words.
