Woodbury School recently hosted an inspiring first session with Prince Robinson, a representative from the WV10 Community Chef programme. The event was filled with anticipation and enthusiasm as pupils embraced this unique opportunity to learn and grow under his guidance.
The WV10 Community Chef programme is a long-standing initiative in Wolverhampton, designed to support healthy eating on a budget while fostering connections within the community. In partnership with Wolverhampton City Council, the programme is expanding citywide, bringing its benefits to more families and individuals.
Prince, a former professional chef and trained nutritionist, brought energy and expertise to the session. His engaging approach and inspiring stories about leadership and community involvement, themes central to the WV10 initiative, sparked excitement and curiosity among pupils.
A highlight of the session was the creation of Chef Robinson’s Caribbean festive pie. Pupils enjoyed working together to showcase their creativity and teamwork, and tasting the delicious results of their hard work.
The session was a resounding success, setting the stage for further collaboration with the WV10 Community Chef programme. Woodbury School looks forward to continuing to inspire and empower its pupils through initiatives like this.
