Aspire Learning is an independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Based in Croydon, the school meets the diverse needs of pupils aged aged 5-11 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN).

Every day, our staff create a calm, welcoming environment for our students where they feel accepted, heard, and valued.

To ensure no opportunities are missed, we engage proactively with families and other stakeholders so they are aware of the learning journeys of our students and will, therefore, work alongside us to help them succeed.

The outcomes of our curriculum are highly individual. However, we strive for all our young people to leave Aspire with a range of accredited qualifications and the essential skills to follow their chosen pathways.

Make a Referral

Choosing the right school for your child is a critically important decision. We’re here to support you throughout the referral process, helping you understand how our school can meet your child’s needs. We encourage you to visit our school, meet students and staff, and ask any questions you may have.

The referral process begins when local authorities or children’s services request an assessment. After reviewing referral paperwork and documents, such as your child’s EHCP, our Senior Leadership Team works closely with local authorities and parents to determine the best way forward. Most students are referred and placed through their local education authorities, often with support from children’s services and healthcare professionals. Throughout the process, your child remains at the heart of our decisions.
