We are looking for an experienced Bids and Contracts manager to join our commercial development team. The ideal candidate will have experience of social care commissioning and experience of working with CQC and/or Ofsted regulations.

What You'll Do:
As our Bid Writer, you will be the driving force behind our tender submissions, ensuring we capture every opportunity to deliver our vital services. You'll be responsible for the entire bid process, from identifying opportunities to crafting compelling proposals and managing contract negotiations.
- Opportunity Hunting: Scour the market for tender opportunities, maintain portal access, and analyse market trends.
- Winning Bids: Develop and implement robust tender processes, collaborating with the team to create high-quality, persuasive submissions.
- Contract Management: Maintain our contracts database and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Support business development partners and operational colleagues with tender responses and marketing materials.
- Performance Analysis: Analyse feedback on bids (both successful and unsuccessful) to continuously improve our submissions.
- Relationship Building: Liaise with local authorities on contractual and performance matters.
- Strategic Growth: Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- CRM Management: Accurately record opportunities and track progress using our CRM system.
What You'll Bring:
- Passion for our Mission: A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
- Proven Bid Writing Experience: 2+ years of experience in a business development role with a focus on bid writing.
- Sector Knowledge: Understanding and experience of social care commissioning (CQC and Ofsted), preferably within the children's sector (regulated registered care is a plus!).
- Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of business development, tender processes, and framework agreements.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and persuasive writing and verbal communication.
- Analytical Prowess: Ability to analyze data, understand market dynamics, and identify opportunities.
- Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive and Execution: A results-oriented approach with a focus on getting things done.
