You'll get to:

  • Be a Strategic Leader: Develop a high-performing referrals process, ensuring a steady stream of new placements.
  • Become a Market Expert: Lead on competitor analysis and identify strategic opportunities for expansion.
  • Establish Strong Partnerships: Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, solidifying Horizon's reputation.
  • Travel & Explore: Shape the future of our services through national travel to conferences, meetings, and potential new sites.
  • Embrace Growth: Contribute to achieving budgeted occupancy, exploring new markets, and fostering financial stability.

You're a great fit if you:

  • Have a proven track record in tender writing and bid management.
  • Extensive experience in referrals.
  • Experience of development, maintenance and conversion of the pipeline to grow occupancy.
  • Strong commissioner relationships (understanding how to engage with commissioners effectively and best understand their needs).
  • Experience in coaching and leading a team.
  • Are Knowledgeable and experienced in the Children and Young Peoples sector.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet business needs

It is desirable if you also have:

  • Experience of Mergers and Acquisitions would be beneficial
  • Understanding of Business Development related Marketing
